As of March 1, 2006, Thaxton Barclay Group merged with The Baldwin Insurance Group. The Baldwin Insurance Group was started by insurance mogul, Lowry Baldwin, in February 2006. We are excited for the growth of the company and think that this will open many doors in the future.

Thaxton Barclay Group came into fruition in August 2003. Denny Thaxton and Vern Barclay joined forces to create one of the leading malpractice insurance groups in the greater Tampa area. Vern, prior to selling insurance, used to manage law firms, giving him more insight into the malpractice insurance business.
